A big thank you to Young Dementia Network for allowing me column inches. In this article I write about the importance of friendship and trust in terms of my relationship with Peter. I concede that this feels a little self-indulgent as this is Peter's website but, as I am the harbinger of the news on this site, I feel self-indulgence is permitted in this instance. And, most unlike me, I manage to squeeze in a quick piece of promotion for our latest book, "Walk With Me: Musings Through the Dementia Fog".

Peter is pleased to be a patron of For Brian CIC -  an evolving concept, co-produced by its directors in collaboration with its beneficiaries living with dementia. The company aims to empower people living with dementia and their families to design support that meets their individual needs, providing agency in challenging circumstances. Cycling plays a huge part in their existence.
