They think it's all SOLLA (it is now)

And that headline was a very poor reflection that it's the World Cup and only those who remember 1966 and who are football fans will get the reference. And maybe it's such a poor play on words that even they won't...
Anyway, today Peter and I delivered a session to staff at SOLLA and it's fair to say that Peter scored another winning session. This talk was the fourth that we have delivered for SOLLA over the last few years and it's great to know that Peter's thoughts and the message of hope is still being disseminated.
Thanks to Jo for organising this meeting and for so many friendly faces appearing on the screen as we talked.
Today, the emphasis was on the financial implications and the necessity to be wary of those who might financially exploit those diagnosed with memory issues, but we still discussed living well, entering the person's world and filling in the colour. I even managed to engineer an 'advert' break where I thrust both books at the camera and urged participants to purchase multiple copies.
Afterwards, when I reflected on the meeting, I realised it was more tricky for Peter now than it has been in the past. After the session, when I checked in with him that he was happy to continue to deliver talks in this way, the answer was a resounding yes! And I suppose I shouldn't have been surprised by that.
So perhaps it's fairer to say that it's not all SOLLA...
