Dementia Market Place 2026

Despite the heat, the Dementia Market place event, organised by Care Development East and sponsored by a whole range of organisations, was a great success. I appreciate how much planning and collaboration is needed to put on an event like this.

Thanks to Kelly McGauley for everything she did to ensure that Peter and I had a great day - the 10.30 speaking slot worked well for both of us and we remained relatively cool!

I also appreciated the provision of our own, quieter corner at the venue where we were able to sell our books and chat to some of the attendees.

And, on this occasion, Peter was not the only person wearing shorts!
