Winners!

A few weeks ago, Peter and I were nominated for the 2025 UK Health Radio Awards by TDW Radio (the dementia word) in the category of the Wendy Mitchell Dementia Support award. I am chuffed to say that we have won!

TDW Radio is part of UK Health Radio and hosted by Pete Hill, whose podcasts and work are consistently outstanding. In an email to me today, Pete sent this very kind message:

"The dedication you have both shown to educating audiences across the country and the world has been amazing. Your story of friendship has been truly inspirational. Having followed your journey from the early days it’s been a privilege to see how you’ve flourished and long may it continue to inspire."

Peter Berry's message of hope and positivity continues to inspire me and many others and it's important that his voice is heard, loud and clear. To win a UK wide award is certainly an indication of that. Thank you to everyone who voted for us and who continue to follow our journey with kindness, love and interest.
