When Pete met Peter...

One of our first interviews after the publication of Slow Puncture was with Pete Hill of @RadioTdw (The D Word). Pete created and hosts the UK's only internet radio show which talks about dementia. Inevitably, within five minutes of chatting to Pete just over a year ago, we discovered we were both Arsenal fans and the interview simply took off from there.

Pete texted me recently to say he would be in Suffolk and so we hatched a plan to meet up.

I'm not quite sure what the two Petes were saying to each other as they posed for their picture outside one of our favourite bakeries, Number One bakery, but it was great to see Pete, his wife Jill, and their boisterous puppy, Benny (yes, that is Benny Hill).

Peter is pleased to be a patron of For Brian CIC -  an evolving concept, co-produced by its directors in collaboration with its beneficiaries living with dementia. The company aims to empower people living with dementia and their families to design support that meets their individual needs, providing agency in challenging circumstances. Cycling plays a huge part in their existence.
