Peter is happy to be involved in yet another project; this newest venture is to be part of the
Time for Dementia programme which is run in conjunction with the Alzheimer's Society (alzheimers.org.uk). The project is described as an "exciting, innovative, multi-award-winning educational programme designed to create a new generation of healthcare professionals who are more aware and understanding of dementia."
With the first session scheduled for May, Peter will talk to students online three times an academic year about a range of subjects around living with memory impairment. Hearing someone's direct experiences of living with dementia, allied with the opportunity to ask questions, will really enhance the students' knowledge and understanding of the condition.
Thank you to Bik-Kay for approaching us - as ever Peter is delighted to be able to participate in a new project - Time for Dementia looks exciting and ground-breaking and our only concern with all of these activities is - will there still be Time for Cycling!
