Safe and Found Online (SAFO)

Yesterday, Peter was at Endeavour House, Suffolk County Council's HQ, as part of the official launch of the Safe and Found Online (SAFO) scheme. SAFO is the digital version of the Herbert Protocol and was adopted by Norfolk and Suffolk Police earlier this year and is currently operating in 13 forces nationwide. The portal means vital information about vulnerable people who have been reported missing can now be in the hands of the police in a matter of seconds.
The rogues' gallery above shows some of the personnel involved in yesterday's launch and the second photo shows Peter with Christopher Cheshire FCIOB MAPM SAFO's chairman, with Peter having begun the process of registering for the scheme online. (There is no significance in the fact that they posed by the 'report highway problems online' sign - even in his new found position as an Ambassador for SAFO, Peter cannot help with any traffic queries).
