Into Norfolk...

Peter and I ventured into Norfolk today - to Ditchingham - to deliver a talk to the Men's Shed. The first thing I spotted, being sharp, was the Men's Shed was not just populated by men but there were women there, too. The English language really is confusing sometimes.

We were made very welcome and the talk prompted some great discussion points and lots of memories for Peter as many of those present knew him from his traction engine days.

We were delighted to received £55 in donations which has duly gone to Alzheimer's Research UK and, on a personal level, I was chuffed to sell out of all of the books I took with me.

Peter is pleased to be a patron of For Brian CIC -  an evolving concept, co-produced by its directors in collaboration with its beneficiaries living with dementia. The company aims to empower people living with dementia and their families to design support that meets their individual needs, providing agency in challenging circumstances. Cycling plays a huge part in their existence.
