Haverhill Library & What's Coming Up

Deb Bunt

A big thanks to Haverhill Library for putting together this collage of staff and borrowers' favourites books of 2022. Richard Osman...we are coming for you!

There are some exciting activities and events planned for 2023. Here's a taster of some (not all!) of these:

January

We are delivering another book talk at Saxmundham Library on 19th January at 10am;

The Dementia Support Group continues in Saxmundham Library with the next meeting on 20th January at 11am;

Our monthly slot on BBC Radio Suffolk resumes on 25th January at 2.20;

Look out for a piece about Peter in Mirador Magazine (with another due in their online edition in March.)

February

In February we head to the Norwich Forum to sit on the panel for the Norwich Science Festival. As one who doesn't know one end of a Bunsen Burner from the other, this should make my contribution as a panel member interesting!

March

Peter and I will be presenting a talk to the Women's Institute in Saxmundham.

May

Date to be confirmed: Peter and I will be the key speakers at the Dementia Conference in Ipswich as part of Suffolk's Dementia Awareness Week.

June

Peter and I will be speaking at the Felixstowe Literary Festival on 24th June (I'm actually mega excited about this!)

I expect the diary to start filling up and so if anyone wants Peter to speak at any of their events, do let me know! He is a man in demand.

Peter is pleased to be a patron of For Brian CIC -  an evolving concept, co-produced by its directors in collaboration with its beneficiaries living with dementia. The company aims to empower people living with dementia and their families to design support that meets their individual needs, providing agency in challenging circumstances. Cycling plays a huge part in their existence.
