Whilst I wouldn't for a moment suggest that "Slow Puncture" is going to change the world, I do like that quote and can link it, seamlessly almost, to today's article on Peter's website.
For today, we had some exciting news. A member of staff from a UK university emailed me to say that he would be recommending "Slow Puncture" to be used "...as part of the Managing Complex Transitions module..." for students undertaking their MSc Dementia Studies programme.
The lecturer, who has had 17 years' experience in health care and dementia studies, thought the book was "a really interesting, emotional and uplifting read". We are going to set up a zoom meeting whereby Peter can discuss his diagnosis and journey and this video will then be used for students in the coming years.
Maybe this is just the start of a new adventure for "Slow Puncture!"
