The Dementia Summit: London

Deb Bunt

Yes, it's a while until October/November, but it was really lovely to see this post, created by Care Roadshows:

Someone (not I!) must have trawled through our social media pages and managed to find a wonderful quote which sums up Peter perfectly:

“Cycling does not create a memory but it does create a feeling… I can’t remember the routes or distances but I remember the feeling of being free from dementia. Dementia has become a prison; cycling is the key to freedom.”

We are all looking forward to our trip to London.

More to come!

Peter Berry LIVING WITH DEMENTIA

"It is important to remember, that a diagnosis of dementia is not just a diagnosis for the individual, but it’s a diagnosis for the whole family.”

Peter is pleased to be a patron of For Brian CIC -  an evolving concept, co-produced by its directors in collaboration with its beneficiaries living with dementia. The company aims to empower people living with dementia and their families to design support that meets their individual needs, providing agency in challenging circumstances. Cycling plays a huge part in their existence.
