Over the last couple of years, Peter has spoken on a few occasions to various regional offices of the Society of Later Life Advisers (SOLLA) and today he was the guest speaker for their national webinar.
As ever his presentation was well received and the organisation has made a pledge to encourage all of their members to become Dementia Friends. This is a great news.
Peter has some very strong views around the way financial institutions deal with those diagnosed with dementia/memory impairment and it was heartening to hear from Tish Hanifan, Founder and Joint Chair at SOLLA, that she is intending to tackle this more fully and will be driving this objective forward - hopefully with Peter's input.
Thanks again to Jo for her excellent organisational skills in pulling this all together and for the extremely kind feedback that flashed across the computer screen as we said farewell to the audience but it was - alas - too fast for me to capture! You will just have to take my word for it...
