Gathering conferences, rather than nuts, in May

I was really pleased to be contacted by a representative from the The Institute of Government and Public Policy | IGPP asking if Peter would deliver an address at their virtual conference: The Dementia Care Conference.

In their words, the IGPP is a ‘pre-eminent think-tank (working) in close collaboration with the University of East London, with the goals of making governance and policy making more inclusive.’

This conference will ‘explore how the government plans to support those with the disease and how key organisations support carers as well as looking at new innovations in care to ensure those living with dementia can live to the fullest.’

The best thing about this is that the Conference will bring together senior leaders from across the health sector, government, academia and the wider public sector so Peter’s presentation will reach all the right people.

One up for Suffolk, I think!

Peter is pleased to be a patron of For Brian CIC -  an evolving concept, co-produced by its directors in collaboration with its beneficiaries living with dementia. The company aims to empower people living with dementia and their families to design support that meets their individual needs, providing agency in challenging circumstances. Cycling plays a huge part in their existence.
