So, we are very excited to report that Lori La Bey, Our Founder (alzheimersspeaks.com) has made contact - or 'reached out' as they say in America - and we have arranged for Peter and me to be on her show in September.
As you can see from Lori's website, she is a "passionate advocate who searches for ways to shift our dementia care culture from crisis to comfort". She is known around the world "for her progressive work in moving dementia care forward. She created Alzheimer’s Speaks in 2008, which is a Minnesota-based advocacy group and media outlet providing new delivery systems, education, and support."
Finally, as her Twitter bio says, Lori has been "recognised by Oprah, Maria Shriver, AARP and Dr Oz for her working shifting our dementia care culture." So, if it's good enough for Oprah...
