Diss and Dat

One of the wonderful things about living in Suffolk is establishing links and networks with people and this was amply demonstrated when librarian, Vivia, from Framlingham Library went out to buy The Diss Express (as it doesn't reach our part of Suffolk), texted me that she had done so and saved the paper for us to collect. Peter and I cycled to Framlingham today to do just that. Vivia runs a great library: the atmosphere and sense of community was captured by the knitting circle and the art exhibition upstairs in the old Courtroom showed how much talent there is in Framlingham.

The link to the article is below. Thanks to Craig Bradshaw at The Diss Express for taking the time to write the piece and for the paper's photographer to snap a pretty good shot of us! And, of course, thanks again for Diss Publishing Bookshop for hosting us all last weekend.

Peter is pleased to be a patron of For Brian CIC -  an evolving concept, co-produced by its directors in collaboration with its beneficiaries living with dementia. The company aims to empower people living with dementia and their families to design support that meets their individual needs, providing agency in challenging circumstances. Cycling plays a huge part in their existence.
