Today Peter and the team from the Four Counties Cycle Challenge were in London in order for Peter to present the cheque of nearly £15,000 to YoungDementia UK - however it seems that Barclays didn't have a spare cheque lying around so it was only a photoshopped one!.
Over the last year or so Peter has raised a total of about £19,600 for the charity and they have therefore recognised both his fundraising and awareness raising by "crowning" him a Dementia Ally. Sean Blackmore, Peter's colleague from The Restaurant That Makes Mistakes has also been given this recognition.
